You will all be glad to hear...

That I am HOPEFULLY going back to school in the spring.

As most of you know, I was wanting to go back, but for a graphics design degree. However I found out that it would take me another 4 years to do so. Not something I wanted to do when I have already spent 2 years towards a marketing degree. So I was waiting it out, seeing how our business went before deciding what to do for sure.

Well, over the past couple weeks I have been thinking about it a lot, and decided that I have put too much time... and money... into this marketing degree to just throw it away. Not to mention in the business that we are developing, a marketing degree would come in handy. Not to mention in the future, just HAVING a degree.

So, areas for prayer. It is obviously more cost and time efficient for me to go full time. But I can't really take a cut in pay to start working part time. So prayer that the business would really take off in the next couple months so that I can start working part time without a pay cut would be awesome. Obviously my parents want me to go to school, and they are willing to do that if it works out that way. For now, I need to get in and talk to a advisor, get registered for classes, and just see how it all unfolds!

My NMM post will be up probably this afternoon. I am not going to highlight the band I thought I was last week because again, I would have to send you to myspace to listen to them, and judging by last weeks lack of responses, you all don't like to do that (or you just hated the music and didn't feel like commenting). So I am going to think of something else. Hopefully soon though.

Hi Ty....lack of comments is frustrating, huh? Especially when you put yourself out there and no one responds. I'm so sorry I didn't see this post before I was talking to you on FB.

I am very glad that you are deciding to go back to school. You are quite smart and a marketing degree will be helpful no matter what you decide to do with your future but it will be especially useful with the business you have going with your dad.

As far as design...maybe you can take some art/design classes as well as your marketing classes? There are also some online design programs that might be options if you just want the knowledge and not necessarily the degree.

I'll be praying for you!

Yes, can be annoying:-) But it's okay.

I agree, it will be helpful no matter what I do.

And yes, I will look into some art/design classes to go along with my marketing classes. My minor is still technically a visual arts minor. Which I am over half way through. So I should get that too.

Hey Bro. Way to get back on track with school... I know first hand how frustrating it can be but it will pay off in the end big-time. Hang in there and git er done!
