It is possible that you have heard of Bright Eyes. They have been around for some time, but only introduced to me a couple years ago when I was in the Philipines.
To some, Bright Eyes is painfully depressing music.
To others, Bright Eyes is a moderately talented musician playing music because he is sad.
However, to me, Bright Eyes is some of the most raw, poetic music I have ever heard. I respect bright eyes because of their simplicity. The synthesizing back up, raw vocals, and melodic, poetic vocals.
The second song is much more "depressing" if you will. The first a bit more upbeat and happy.
I have a feeling you will either appreciate, hate them.
I love listening to them when I just feel like relaxing, or going to sleep.

Awesome! Glad to hear it. Most of the stuff I have is pretty old. Not sure how his new stuff. I have a "greatest hits' album that is pretty awesome.
And just a warning, he does get a little "cussy" in some of his songs. Just so ya know...
